EMU has been included in the ranking of the world's most influential universities by a British rating
The ranking features 2,152 universities from 125 different countries, as updated by the English company Times Higher Education (THE), which maintains one of the most widely cited university rankings globally.
A university from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was ranked within the range of 301–400 and received top scores across 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In this ranking, universities worldwide are evaluated based on their contributions to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. EMU was recognized for its strong performance across all these goals.
Since 2022, EMU has consistently ranked among the most effective universities globally, focusing on areas such as poverty alleviation, inequality reduction, quality education, and partnerships for sustainable development. Additionally, the university conducts comprehensive research aligned with all UN Sustainable Development Goals.
