The Cancer Research Foundation will hold the 21st Orchid Walk in Northern Cyprus
On April 28, the 21st "Orchid Walk" will take place on the hiking trail in the Dilekkaya Forest.
The event is organized by the Cancer Research Foundation (KAV) in collaboration with the CENGO-V Foundation.
An informational meeting dedicated to the walk was held the day before. In his speech, the President of the Cancer Research Foundation, Mustafa Kamgöz, emphasized the importance of foundations for society and stated that KAV is the only foundation in Northern Cyprus that deals with cancer research.
The professor also announced the imminent launch of a cancer drug they developed as a result of joint research with Imperial College. He emphasized that the foundation continues to fight cancer within scientific frameworks using donations received through collaboration with the Cengo-V Foundation for 3 years and the Orchid Walk, which they have been organizing for 20 years.
Mustafa Kamgöz thanked supporters and volunteers for their help and emphasized that without their active participation and support, this work would not be possible.
According to the President of the CENGO-V Foundation, donations received during the "Orchid Walk" event have contributed to cancer research.
"You can also contribute by participating in our 21st Orchid Walk on April 28 in the Dilekkaya Forest," the head of the foundation said.
