KOOP-SÜT announces milk price increase in TRNC from September 6, 2025
The cooperative for the production and marketing of milk and liquid fats KOOP-SÜT has published a new price list, effective from September 6, 2025, applicable to products sold in Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
According to the document, the new wholesale and recommended retail prices for key items are as follows: 1 L UHT whole milk — wholesale 47.75 TRY, recommended retail 51.25 TRY; 1 L semi-skimmed milk — 47.75 / 51.25 TRY; 1 L skimmed milk (yağsız) — 57.40 TRY (recommended 61.70 TRY); 1 L lactose-free milk — 61.80 TRY (recommended 66.45 TRY); vitamin-enriched milk — 63.30 TRY (previously 58.90 TRY); goat milk (1 L) — 70.00 TRY (recommended 75.25 TRY); bottled pasteurized whole milk (1 L) — 53.90 TRY (recommended 62.00 TRY).
According to KOOP-SÜT, these prices are valid from the announced date; retail chains may set their own prices within the recommended range. For TRNC residents, this means higher costs for dairy products: price increases in supermarkets should be expected and budgets planned accordingly. It is recommended to compare prices across different stores and watch for promotions and discounts, as the recommended retail price is not always the same as the actual shelf price.
