Koop-Süt recalls batch of milk due to bacteria
Koop-Süt milk produced on January 20, 2026, has sparked a wave of complaints on social media: customers reported that the product was spoiled.
Board member Mehmet Safa stated that the problem was related to bacteria in the milk. According to him, the batch was recalled from the market, and the situation was resolved internally within the company.
“Yes, we are aware of the issue, we have recalled production. This was caused by bacteria in the milk. We have resolved the matter internally,” Safa noted.
He added that such incidents can occasionally happen with any dairy producers.
What should customers do?
The company assured that:
- the spoiled product can be returned to the store;
- if customers contact Koop-Süt directly, the product will be replaced;
- the manufacturer “is responsible for the sold product.”
Earlier, users also complained in comments under posts about the smell and quality of other dairy products.
