Daylight saving time ends in Northern Cyprus on October 26 — clocks will be set back one hour
In Northern Cyprus, daylight saving time will end on October 26, 2025: by decision of the TRNC Council of Ministers, published in the Official Gazette, clocks will be set back one hour at 04:00.
The decision was formalized by the “Daylight Saving Time 2025” decree, adopted by the TRNC Council of Ministers and published in the Official Gazette.
Daylight saving time is applied to make fuller use of daylight. According to the document, the switch to daylight saving time for the current period began on March 30 (Sunday).
Practical significance for residents of Northern Cyprus: on the night of October 25–26 at 04:00 local time, clocks will be set back to 03:00, effectively returning to standard time.
