Merit International Presented the Results of Its 2025 Social Projects in Northern Cyprus
On December 19, 2025, in Northern Cyprus, the Social Programs Coordination of Merit International held its annual press briefing in the form of a New Year’s lunch, presenting projects implemented in 2025. The event was attended by members of the press and managers of Merit hotels.
During the meeting, Merit International’s Social Affairs Coordinator Mine Gürses provided detailed information about projects carried out in 2025 in the areas of education, environmental protection, sports, and support for vulnerable groups.
According to Mine Gürses, during 2025, initiatives were implemented that affected various age groups and sectors, with close cooperation established with government institutions, schools, and NGOs. She also announced plans to continue similar activities in 2026.
Reha Arar highlighted Merit International’s long-standing commitment to social responsibility and thanked the press representatives for their attention and support of the projects. According to the organizers, the press event served as an opportunity to summarize the year and share plans for the upcoming year.
For residents of Northern Cyprus, this means the continuation of social initiatives in key areas — education, environment, sports, and assistance to vulnerable groups — with the involvement of local institutions and community organizations.
