A protocol on academic cooperation for future teachers signed between Turkey and TRNC
According to a statement from the Ministry of National Education, the protocol was signed yesterday by the President of the National Academy of Education, Cevdet Vural, and the President of the Atatürk Teachers' Academy, Professor Dr. Güner Konedralı, in the presence of Ünal Eryılmaz, Director General for EU Affairs and External Relations of the Ministry of National Education.
The ceremony was also attended by Fethi Fahri Kaya, Director General of the Department of Higher Education and Overseas Education of the Republic of Turkey, and Murad Aktuğ, Director of the Department of Education and Training.
The protocol aims to promote joint work in various fields including educational activities, seminars and workshops, digital content production, and distance learning applications. It also aims to support academic cooperation and professional development activities focused on creating and improving new teaching approaches, including AI-based applications for future teachers.
This protocol between Turkey and the TRNC is intended to strengthen educational ties between the two countries and contribute qualified input to the teacher training processes.
