Çatalköy – Esentepe Municipality Renews Sister City Agreement with Mezitli
The Çatalköy – Esentepe Municipality has renewed its sister city agreement with the Mezitli district of Mersin. This was announced by the mayor, Ceyhun Kırok, on his social media page.
"We signed a sister city agreement with Mezitli Mayor Ahmet Serkan Tunçer, which will further strengthen the bridges of friendship between our cities," the mayor wrote.
According to Kırok, the partnership benefits from the expertise of his Turkish counterpart, who is also the president of the Union of Municipalities of the Eastern Mediterranean. He believes that this collaboration will lay the foundation for projects that will benefit both municipalities.
The sister city protocol aims to foster deeper ties through cultural events, joint projects, and information exchange.
"I am confident that this agreement will enhance the exchange of culture, knowledge, and experience between our two municipalities," said the mayor of Çatalköy – Esentepe.
