The TRNC Ministry of Interior conducted large-scale inspections to combat illegal migration
The Ministry of Interior of the TRNC reported that simultaneous inspections were carried out across the country as part of efforts to combat irregular migration. The operations were conducted with the participation of the police and specialized units.
During the raids, places of residence, workplaces, and public spaces were inspected. The main focus was on foreigners without valid documents, as well as employers using illegal labor.
As a result of the inspections, violations of migration legislation were identified. Administrative and legal procedures have been initiated against the offenders. The Ministry of Interior emphasized that such inspections will continue on a regular basis.
