Early Monday morning, a fire broke out at a brick factory in Haspolat. The fire started in the workshop for destroying pharmaceuticals.
According to a statement from the police press office, the fire at the brick factory, which is part of the Gürdağ Group in Haspolat, started today at 05:40.
Firefighting units were dispatched following an emergency call. Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters conducted controlled demolitions of buildings to prevent further spread of the fire.
The causes of the fire are currently unknown. Firefighting efforts are ongoing.
