An environmental cleanup was conducted on the beach of Jengizkoy in collaboration between the Environmental Association and Ecology, in partnership with the Environmental Club of the European University of Lefke.
According to Tamer Dayoglu, the president of the Environmental Association and Ecology of Lefke, who spoke at the event, the organization's goal is to instill environmental consciousness in children and youth. Such events will continue in the future "to create a healthier society."
The event was attended by members of the EUL Environmental Club, members of the Environmental Association and Ecology of Lefke, Güzelyurt Kurtuluş Middle School, Lefke İstiklal Primary School, and students from the Yedidalga Primary School.
