Dawn Vigil at Yavuz Landing Beach to Mark 50th Anniversary of Cyprus Peace Operation
As part of the events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation, a special dawn vigil will be held on July 19 at Yavuz Landing Beach.
The Security Forces Command announced that the vigil will commence at 8:30 PM. The ceremony will begin with a torchlight procession, followed by prayers, a performance by the SAT group, and a joint concert featuring the GKK orchestra and the Mehter Union of the Ministry of National Defense.
In the evening, popular TRT artists Dunya Tekin, Zafer Albayrak, and Gökçe Nur Semerci will take the stage to perform. The night will conclude with a spectacular display of fireworks and laser shows.
Additionally, it has been reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit the TRNC on July 20 to participate in the anniversary celebrations.
