Artillery Drills Underway at Chamurova Range Near Güzelyurt
Artillery drills are set to take place this week at the Chamurova Range, located near Güzelyurt. Access to the area will be restricted.
According to the Güzelyurt District Governor's Office, the drills will run from February 17 to 21, taking place daily from 07:30 to 17:30. During these hours, the area will be designated a restricted zone.
Due to ongoing efforts to locate and dispose of unexploded ordnance after the exercises, visitors are advised to avoid the area for safety reasons until further notice.
