On the holiday of Eid al-Fitr in the TRNC, rains and thunderstorms persist: weather for April 10

According to the Department of Meteorology of the TRNC, on Wednesday, April 10, the region continues to be affected by low pressure and cool, humid air. Variable cloudiness with showers and thunderstorms persists in Northern Cyprus today.

Air temperature remains within seasonal climatic norms. In some areas, thermometers will rise to 23°C. Particularly heavy precipitation is expected in the vicinity of Kyrenia, Famagusta, and on the Karpas.

The wind is northeast with gusts up to strong. No storms are expected in the region today. Despite abundant rainfall, the meteorologists' warning of heavy showers has been canceled.

Nevertheless, two emergency warnings from meteorologists continue to be in effect in the region: regarding ultraviolet radiation and the likelihood of forest fires.

People with normal skin can be in the sun for about 15 minutes. However, it is strongly recommended to wear hats and sunglasses.

West Coast: Lefke - 19°C, Güzelyurt - 22°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta - 25°C, Iskele - 25°C.

Karpas: Yenierenkoy - 24°C.
