On January 2nd, cloudy weather with showers is expected in Northern Cyprus

According to the Department of Meteorology of the TRNC, on Tuesday, January 2nd, the region is under the influence of low pressure and cool, humid air. Meteorologists predict cloudy weather and intermittent showers.

The maximum air temperature will be 21°C, which is 3-5°C above the seasonal climatic norm. The wind will be southwest, of moderate strength.

There are no active warnings from meteorologists in Northern Cyprus.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 20°C, Lapta – 19°C, Akdeniz - 19°C, Alevkaya - 15°C, Esentepe - 18°C.

Western Coast: Lefke – 19°C, Güzelyurt - 21°C.

Central Part: Nicosia - 20°C, Ercan - 20°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta - 20°C, Iskele - 20°C.

Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 19°C.
