A camp for scout candidates was held in Northern Cyprus from November 28–30
The Turkish Cypriot Scouting Federation held a three-day camp for scout candidates from November 28–30 at the “Kantara” youth camp complex in Northern Cyprus. Seventy students from three primary schools participated.
According to the organizers, students from Aydinköy Primary School, Degirmenlik Primary School, and Şehit Ertuğrul Primary School joined the program.
During the three days, participants received basic knowledge about scouting, took part in activities that strengthened team spirit and small-group work, and attended sessions aimed at increasing ecological and environmental awareness. The training combined theoretical blocks with practical exercises to instill the core values of the scouting movement.
The Turkish Cypriot Scouting Federation stated that similar educational camps will continue in 2026 and invited young people to join scouting activities.
