Three Storm Warnings Issued for Northern Cyprus on March 5
The TRNC Meteorology Department has issued three separate storm warnings for Northern Cyprus on Wednesday, March 5, as low pressure and cold, humid air continue to affect the region.
Forecasters expect partly cloudy skies with no rain.
Temperatures will remain within the seasonal average, ranging from 15°C to 22°C across most areas.
Winds will be moderate from the northeast, but gusts could reach strong to storm levels.
Dust from North Africa will linger in the air until midday tomorrow.
In addition to the general storm warning, two separate alerts have been issued—one for strong winds on land and another for rough sea conditions.
From midnight until the end of the day, winds are expected to reach storm force, with gusts up to 7 on the Beaufort scale.
