Half a Kilogram of Drugs Seized in Northern Cyprus
Police in the KKTC have arrested three individuals found in possession of half a kilogram of drugs. The suspects are also believed to be linked to another drug-related case.
According to a statement from the police press office, a special operation conducted by the Anti-Narcotics and Smuggling Unit in the village of Türkeli led to the arrest of three men, aged 22, 33, and 45.
During a search of the suspects’ vehicle, officers discovered 360 grams of a substance suspected to be a synthetic cannabinoid, approximately 140 grams of marijuana, and around 12 grams of cocaine.
The individuals were taken into custody. Further investigations revealed that the suspects are connected to another drug bust that took place in Girne on November 5.
