Man Crushed by His Own Tractor in Northern Cyprus
Northern Cyprus has experienced a second fatal workplace accident within 24 hours. A man tragically lost his life after being crushed by his own tractor in Mutluyaka.

According to a police statement, the incident occurred at approximately 9:30 AM. Tamer Zeden, a 62-year-old man working in the fields of Mutluyaka, went underneath his tractor to perform maintenance. During this time, the vehicle unexpectedly started moving and ran over him.
Zeden sustained critical injuries and was immediately transported to the Famagusta State Hospital. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the accident.
This is the second workplace fatality in Northern Cyprus within 24 hours and the second recorded this year. Just a day earlier, another tragedy occurred at the Geçitköy Dam pumping station, where a worker was fatally electrocuted.
