In Northern Cyprus, sheep wool has found application
In the TRNC, sheep wool has found application. Livestock waste, which used to be discarded, has been decided to be donated to the "Revival of Wool in Northern Cyprus" project.
A meeting regarding the donation of sheared sheep wool to the "Revival of Wool in Northern Cyprus" project was held under the auspices of the President of the TRNC, Ersin Tatar.
According to a written statement from the presidential administration, during the meeting, members of the producers' and breeders' union urged to donate sheep wool to the "Revival of Wool in Northern Cyprus" project, which was implemented in the village of Pamuklu.
Thus, the association of producers and breeders of animals will support the project, led by the wife of the country's president, Sibel Tatar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
The project under the slogan "You also make your contribution" aims to introduce wool processing into the economy and provide a sustainable source of income for working women.
