A "dusty" warning has been issued in Northern Cyprus
The TRNC Meteorology Department has issued an emergency warning due to dust polluting the air. Fine particles, brought to the region from North Africa, will linger in the atmosphere until tomorrow evening.
According to meteorologists, dusty weather will prevail in the country starting from 14:00 today, March 12, and will continue until the end of tomorrow, March 13.
"Since dust particles from North Africa are expected to cause air pollution in our region, citizens sensitive to dust are advised to be cautious," the department's message said.
Recall that the last time dusty weather was observed in Northern Cyprus was in early March when dust from North Africa was also brought to the TRNC.
