Military Truck Overturns in Northern Cyprus: 12 Injured
A serious accident occurred in the TRNC when a military truck overturned on the main road between Akçay and Güzelyurt. According to preliminary reports, 12 people were injured in the incident.
The accident happened between the 3rd and 4th kilometers of the road. The driver of the military jeep was heading towards Güzelyurt when he lost control after colliding with a vehicle traveling in the same direction. The military truck then veered off the road and overturned.
Reports indicate that five ambulances and several medical teams arrived at the scene.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the military vehicle and the 12 passengers were injured and transported to various hospitals for medical evaluation.
Doctors are reporting that the condition of the injured individuals is serious. An investigation is ongoing.
