In Northern Cyprus, 129 police officers took the oath
A total of 129 candidates, who successfully completed their training at the Police Academy, officially joined the police force at the "Oath and Graduation Ceremony."
The ceremony, held at the Atatürk Sports Hall in Nicosia, commenced with a minute of silence and the national anthem, followed by the graduates taking the oath.
Present at the ceremony were Major General Osman Aytach, Commander of the Security Forces, Brigadier General Kadir Bayraklı, Deputy Commander of the Security Forces, Kasım Kuni, Director General of the Police, Olgun Amcaoğlu, Minister of Economy and Energy, along with other police officials and the families of the graduates.
Addressing the candidates who completed the 64th Basic Police Training Course, Major General Osman Aytach stated that their new life would be filled with honor and pride, but ahead of them also lay sacrifices and challenges. He also expressed confidence that the graduates of the Police Academy would contribute to peace and order in the country.
The police academy graduates took the oath at the ceremonial ceremony and officially began their duties.
