"Public Health Week" Kicks Off in Northern Cyprus
Last weekend, Northern Cyprus launched the first event of its "Public Health Week," which will run from September 3 to 9. The week of activities began with the "Be Healthy" walk in Nicosia.
The walk started on Dereboyu Street and concluded at Kuguğlu Park. At the end of the route, participants received informational brochures. Free dental check-ups were offered, and citizens over 65 could undergo various cognitive tests. The event wrapped up with a lively musical concert.
According to the Director of the Primary Healthcare Department, this year marks the third annual "Public Health Week." The event aims to highlight the importance of preventive medical services and raise public awareness about health issues.
Throughout "Public Health Week," from September 3 to 9, various wellness activities will be held across Northern Cyprus.
