Artillery drills will take place in Northern Cyprus
In the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), artillery drills will be conducted in early April. The shooting exercises will occur at the Mevlevi firing range from April 1st to April 5th.
Authorities in the Güzelyurt district have announced that the drills will be held from 07:30 to 21:00 on the specified days.
During the maneuvers, entry to the firing range within a radius of 500 meters will be prohibited.
It is also noted that since the search and disposal of empty shells after the shootings will continue for some time, entry into the area should not be attempted until the command lifts the ban.
