A storm warning has been lifted in Northern Cyprus: weather forecast for February 2nd
According to the Department of Meteorology of the TRNC, on Friday, February 2nd, the region is under the influence of low pressure, as well as cold and humid air. The storm warning that has been in effect in the country for several days has been lifted.
Today, forecasters promise variable cloudiness and brief rain showers, mainly in the central regions of the country and in the Karpas. Storms on land and at sea are not expected today.
Air temperature has also normalized: the mercury will rise to 17°C, which corresponds to seasonal climatic norms.
Weather on February 2nd by regions:
North Coast: Kyrenia – 16°C, Lapta – 16°C, Akdeniz - 16°C, Alevkaya - 14°C, Esentepe - 15°C.
West Coast: Lefke – 16°C, Güzelyurt – 17°C.
Central part: Nicosia – 17°C, Ercan – 17°C
East Coast: Famagusta – 17°C, İskele – 16°C
Karpas: Yenierenköy – 16°C
