Students of the Near East University in Northern Cyprus provided care to women battling cancer
Students of the Near East University in Northern Cyprus organized a charitable event during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, offering care to patients undergoing treatment. The initiative was held in collaboration with the Near East University Vocational School and the Cancer Patients Support Association.
During the event, students from the Hair Care and Beauty Services Department provided hair, skin, hand, foot, and nail care for the patients. Organizers emphasized that the services aimed to offer moral support to women receiving treatment.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Yeşim Yustun, morale and support are essential during treatment. She stated that the university and the faculty support patients not only during the awareness campaign but continuously.
