Three traffic accidents occurred in Kyrenia, Karpas, and Otheken in Northern Cyprus — 4 injured
Three separate traffic accidents took place on 19 October in Northern Cyprus, in the areas of Kyrenia, Karpas, and Otheken. Four people were injured; all victims received treatment and were discharged.
The first accident occurred around 10:00 on the Kyrenia–Karpas coastal highway in the Yudi Dagi area. A car with license plate KB 442, driven by Z.A (28), veered to the right, hit steel barriers, and overturned. The driver was taken to Famagusta State Hospital, where he received medical assistance and was discharged.
The second incident occurred around 14:45 in Kyrenia on Balikçi Kemal Sahilboyu Street. A car KHZ 026, driven by M.A (46), lost control while reversing, hit a concrete barrier and a wall, and overturned. The driver was uninjured.
The third accident was recorded around 22:00 in Otheken on Dr. Fazıl Küçük Street. A car PM 753, driven by A.Ë (18), lost control entering a turn, hit the balcony stairs of a residential building, then a wall and barriers, and overturned. Driver A.Ë and passengers M.B (18) and H.Ş (17) were injured; all three were taken to Famagusta State Hospital and later discharged.
The police continue investigations for all three accidents.
