In the Northern Cyprus, warm, clear weather without precipitation has settled in at the beginning of the week

According to the Department of Meteorology of the TRNC, on Monday, April 15, the region is being influenced by low pressure and warm, humid air. There are still two weather warnings in effect for the region.

Meteorologists promise clear weather without precipitation at the beginning of the week. The air temperature will rise 3-5 degrees above seasonal norms. In some areas, the thermometer will reach up to 30°C.

The wind of moderate strength has changed its direction to northeast. Storms are not expected in the region today.

On the northern coast of Cyprus, the average level of ultraviolet radiation and a high probability of forest fires persist.

People with normal skin can stay in the sun for about 20 minutes. However, it is strongly recommended to wear hats and sunglasses.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 26°C, Lapta – 25°C, Akdeniz - 28°C, Alevkaya - 24°C, Esentepe - 25°C.

Western Coast: Lefke – 28°C, Güzelyurt – 30°C.

Central Part: Nicosia – 30°C, Ercan – 29°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 26°C, Iskele – 27°C.

Karpas: Yenierenköy – 26°C.
