Starting from March 27th, high pressure will affect Northern Cyprus: warming is expected
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Wednesday, March 27th, the region will be influenced by high pressure and warm air. Cloudy weather without precipitation, dust, and significant warming is expected in Northern Cyprus.
Air temperatures will rise 4-6 degrees above the seasonal climatic norm. The maximum temperature in some areas will reach 25-26°C.
The storm wind warning that has been in effect for several days has been lifted. The wind has subsided and changed direction to northeast. No storms are expected in the region today.
However, meteorologists continue to issue a warning for the region. Dust from North Africa, which arrived in the TRNC, will persist in the air until the end of March.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 25°C, Lapta – 24°C, Akdeniz - 23°C, Alevkaya - 22°C, Esentepe - 23°C.
Western Coast: Lefke – 25°C, Güzelyurt – 25°C.
Central part: Nicosia – 26°C, Ercan – 25°C.
Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 24°C, Iskele – 25°C.
Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 22°C.
