Severe Rain and Hailstorm Expected in Northern Cyprus
The TRNC Department of Meteorology has issued a storm warning for Sunday, April 13, with forecasts predicting heavy rain, hail, and thunderstorms across Northern Cyprus. The severe weather could lead to flash floods and widespread waterlogging.
According to the latest forecast, the storm is expected to hit between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with rainfall levels ranging between 21 and 50 mm. Strong winds are also expected to accompany the thunderstorms.
Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to protect against flooding, hail, lightning strikes, and strong gusts of wind.
