Rains with snow and strong stormy winds are approaching Northern Cyprus: weather forecast for January 29th
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Monday, January 29th, the region is under the influence of low pressure and very cold humid air. Meteorologists predict variable cloudiness, showers, and thunderstorms, with snow in mountainous areas.
Additionally, a storm warning has been issued for Northern Cyprus on January 29th due to strong winds. It will be in effect from 21:00 today until 14:00 on Tuesday, January 30th.
Furthermore, a significant cooling is expected in the country - the maximum air temperature will be only 13-14°C, which is 2-3°C below the seasonal climatic norm.

- Northern coast: Kyrenia - 13°C, Lapta - 12°C, Akdeniz - 12°C, Alevkaya - 8°C, Esentepe - 10°C.
- Western coast: Lefke - 13°C, Guzelyurt - 11°C.
- Central part: Nicosia - 12°C, Ercan - 12°C.
- Eastern coast: Famagusta - 14°C, Iskele - 13°C.
- Karpas: Yenierenkoy - 11°C.
