Strong downpours and thunderstorms are approaching Northern Cyprus
Another storm warning has been issued for Northern Cyprus. Strong downpours and thunderstorms are approaching the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, the storm warning due to severe thunderstorms will be in effect in the region from 9:00 PM today until 3:00 PM tomorrow. Citizens have been urged to exercise caution due to the approaching bad weather, and authorities have been called upon to take necessary measures to prevent potential consequences.
"Based on the latest meteorological assessments and analysis, it is expected that the downpours and thunderstorms in the region will be intense (21-50 kg/m²), especially on the northern coast and in the areas of Besparmak, the eastern coast, and Karpasia," the meteorologists' message states.
It is worth noting that another meteorological warning for stormy winds is still in effect in the region. It was announced yesterday and will last until 10:00 AM tomorrow.
