Nikos Christodoulides Wishes for Cyprus Reunification on Christmas
The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, published a Christmas address. In his greeting, the head of the Greek Cypriot community expressed the wish for "2024 to mark the beginning of the end of the occupation of Cyprus."
"Our thoughts are directed to fellow citizens in need of our support, both young and old, in Cyprus and the diaspora. May the joyful news of the birth of Christ fill our hearts with love and humanity," stated the President of the Republic of Cyprus in his address.
The head of the Greek Cypriot community's administration also expressed hope for the reunification of the country.
"I hope to see the prompt reunification of Cyprus, providing future generations with the opportunity to live and thrive in conditions of safety and peace, in a modern state with a robust economic foundation and a people-oriented approach. I look forward to it," said the President of the Republic of Cyprus.
