Low pressure has been replaced by high pressure: the weather in Northern Cyprus on January 5th
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Friday, January 5th, the region is under the influence of high pressure and cool, humid air. Meteorologists predict variable cloudiness with no precipitation.
The maximum air temperature will be 22°C, which is 4-6°C above the seasonal climate norm. The wind is south-west, of moderate strength, with gusts up to strong. There are no active weather warnings from meteorologists in Northern Cyprus.

- Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 21°C, Lapta – 22°C, Akdeniz - 21°C, Alevkaya - 19°C, Esentepe - 21°C.
- Western Coast: Lefke – 22°C, Güzelyurt - 22°C.
- Central Part: Nicosia - 22°C, Ercan - 22°C.
- Eastern Coast: Famagusta - 22°C, Iskele - 22°C.
- Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 21°C.
