The new week in TRNC begins with rain and thunderstorms: weather on March 18th

According to the Department of Meteorology of TRNC, on Monday, February 18th, the region is under the influence of low pressure and cool humid air. Meteorologists predict variable cloudiness with rain, showers, and thunderstorms, especially in the east of the island.

The air temperature remains within seasonal climatic norms: the thermometer readings will rise to 21-22 degrees Celsius. The wind is northeast, of moderate strength.

Despite the unsettled weather, there are no active warnings from meteorologists in Northern Cyprus.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia - 21°C, Lapta - 19°C, Akdeniz - 20°C, Alevkaya - 16°C, Esentepe - 18°C.

Western Coast: Lefke - 20°C, Güzelyurt - 22°C.

Central Part: Nicosia - 21°C, Ercan - 21°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta - 21°C, Iskele - 21°C.

Karpas: Yenierenköy - 18°C.
