TRNC Health Ministry Budget for 2025 Approved
The Committee on Economics, Finance, Budget, and Planning of the Assembly of the Republic has approved the budget for the Ministry of Health of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for 2025. The budget, amounting to 12 billion 859 million 721 thousand Turkish liras, was approved by a majority vote.

During the budget discussions, concerns were raised regarding deficiencies in healthcare services and patient referrals. Members of Parliament (MPs) emphasized the importance of strengthening healthcare infrastructure and easing the burden on medical staff.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek, ministry officials, committee members, and several MPs.
Earlier, the relevant parliamentary committee approved the budgets for the Ministry of Agriculture, the Dairy Industry Institute (SÜTEK), and the Soil Products Institute (TÜK).
Today, further discussions are planned regarding the budgets for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Turkish Cypriot Agency), the Civil Defense Organization, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
