The Chamber of Turkish Cypriot Architects participated in the European Cultural Heritage Summit in Brussels
The Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Architects participated in 2025 in the European Cultural Heritage Summit organized by Europa Nostra and funded by the European Union, held in Brussels.
Representing the chamber were Chairman Onur Olguner, Secretary General of KTMMOB and member of the High Council for the Protection of Monuments Türker Aktaç, as well as subcommittee member of the High Council for the Protection of Monuments Fatmagül Yöge.
The chamber announced the continuation of efforts to increase international visibility and representation of Turkish Cypriot architects. The organization is reported to contribute to the preparation of the 2026 conference planned for the southern part of Nicosia, Cyprus.
During the general assembly, Chairman Onur Olguner emphasized the need to prevent the exclusion of Turkish Cypriot architects from relevant processes. Olguner stated that a report on contacts and work completed will be presented at an information meeting with chamber members in the coming weeks, confirming the intention to continue strengthening representation through 2026.
