TRNC Parliament Convenes for Another Extraordinary Session
The TRNC Parliament's General Assembly is holding an extraordinary session today, with several important bills on the agenda, including one related to the Association of Turkish Cypriot Realtors.
The session was scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.
Deputies will review amendments to the bills on public procurement, compensations for mujahideen, and defining the rights and benefits for veterans. The bill concerning the Association of Turkish Cypriot Realtors has been sent back to the General Assembly committee for further discussion.
It is worth noting that the General Assembly held its last regular session of the legislative year on Tuesday, June 25. Since yesterday, the deputies have been on break. During the third legislative year, parliamentarians approved 97 laws.
On Wednesday, July 3, parliamentarians convened for their first extraordinary session. As it lasted until late at night, the next meeting was rescheduled for today, July 9.
