TRNC Parliament to Resume Work in the New Year
The General Assembly of the TRNC Parliament is set to hold its first session of 2025 on Monday, January 6.
The session, chaired by Parliamentary Speaker Ziya Öztürkler, will commence at 10:00 AM. The main item on the agenda is a proposal to amend the law concerning penalties.
For context, the General Assembly held its final session of 2024 on December 20. During that session, deputies wrapped up discussions and approved the 2025 fiscal budget for the Central Government Administration.
