Passenger of the Ercan-Izmir Flight Proposes to His Girlfriend at an Altitude of 10 Thousand Feet
Passengers on the Ercan-Izmir flight witnessed a touching romantic event. Osman Burchak, a resident of Cyprus, proposed to his girlfriend Fatmagul Celik right in the air.
After the plane reached an altitude of 10 thousand feet, the young man suddenly knelt down in front of his girlfriend with a ring in his hand, expressed his feelings, and asked, “Will you marry me?”
The future bride was first surprised, then accepted the proposal, answering “Yes.” The happy groom put the ring on his chosen one's finger and embraced her amidst the applause of the passengers on the plane.
The couple met 9 months ago. Both future spouses work in the tourism industry.
