Pegasus Adds 28 Extra Flights to Northern Cyprus for Kurban Bayram
In response to high passenger demand during the Kurban Bayram holiday, Turkish airline Pegasus is adding 28 extra flights to Northern Cyprus.
These additional flights will operate from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, Antalya, and Izmir, addressing the expected surge in travelers.
Beyond the flights to Northern Cyprus, Pegasus will also run 64 extra domestic flights within Turkey, 4 flights to Italy, and 1 flight to Kuwait.
Popular domestic destinations for Pegasus passengers include Adana, Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman, and Izmir.
Internationally, Italy tops the list of preferred destinations for Pegasus travelers.
According to earlier reports, Ercan Airport is set to handle 878 flights during the Kurban Bayram celebrations.
Kurban Bayram, one of the most significant holidays in the Islamic world, will start on June 16. This year, the celebrations in Northern Cyprus will last four days, with a five-day public holiday.
