The Ülker Nicosia Marathon took place in Nicosia this past weekend, drawing a record-breaking 14,000 participants from across the country. Dmitry Zuyzin claimed victory in the 10 km race. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the treatment of young patients at the Pediatric Oncology Service.

As the Mayor of Nicosia, Mehmet Harmancı, stated before the race: "Today, thousands of people from all over the country have come together as one. We share the victory of our little heroes from the Pediatric Oncology Service and run toward victory alongside them. Once again, we say together: 'Our little heroes will never be alone.' We will always stand by them."

In both the 10 km and 21 km races, 72 athletes earned trophies and cash prizes across six age categories: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60+. Dmitry Zuyzin finished first in the 10 km race.

Following the competitive races, a public 4 km run was held in front of the Turkish Municipality of Nicosia. Registration records show that around 14,000 participants signed up for the public event.
