Fake insurance policy at Metehan checkpoint
At the Metehan checkpoint, a 55-year-old man was detained after presenting a fake insurance policy to an officer when entering Northern Cyprus from the Republic of Cyprus. The policy did not correspond to the vehicle being used.
The forged document had previously been illegally issued and put into circulation.
The suspect has been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
