Fire in Alsancak: 8 Residential Containers Destroyed
New details have emerged about the fire that broke out yesterday afternoon in Alsancak. The blaze began around 3:30 PM in a residential container owned by a construction company and quickly spread to nearby structures.
According to the police press office, the fire destroyed a total of eight residential containers along with mattresses, bunk beds, wardrobes, various clothing items, electrical installations, and eight internal and external air conditioning units.
A motorhome parked in front of the containers was also damaged by the flames.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and managed to bring the fire under control. Water tankers were required during the firefighting efforts, and authorities even called on the public for assistance.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and authorities are continuing their inquiry.
