The Kyrenia Police to Monitor Alcohol Consumption in Parks
The Municipality of Kyrenia has announced that city police are working around the clock, including weekends, to ensure public safety. Law enforcement units operate within municipal boundaries.
In a written statement, the municipality stated that the police have intensified their patrols, especially in parks, beaches, squares, and other areas classified as public spaces. Additionally, the police are taking necessary measures to address environmental pollution and ecological safety concerns.
The statement also mentioned that police officers, tasked with enhancing public safety within the Kyrenia municipality, are authorized to intervene in issues such as street disturbances, loud noises, environmental pollution, public order violations, and alcohol consumption in parks.
