Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Commission to Visit TRNC
The Chairman of the National Commission for Education, Culture, Youth, and Sports of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Mahmut Özer, along with his delegation, will arrive in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) tomorrow for official engagements.
During their visit to Northern Cyprus, the Turkish delegation will participate in a working session of the Committee on Administrative Affairs, Public Affairs, and Health of the Republic's Assembly. As part of his three-day visit, Mahmut Özer will also hold various meetings and make several visits.
Tomorrow, the Turkish delegation will be received by TRNC President Ersin Tatar, Parliamentary Speaker Zorlu Töre, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu. On Wednesday, the delegation will visit the Suna Ata Atun Primary School of the Turkish Maarif Foundation in Famagusta, as well as the Eastern Mediterranean University and the closed city of Varosha.
On the final day of their visit, the delegation of the Turkish Grand National Assembly will be received by TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu.
