Prime Minister of the TRNC Admitted to Hospital
The Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ünal Üstel, has been admitted to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia due to stomach discomfort. He was taken to the Internal Medicine Department for further examination and care.
Local media report that Üstel has been diagnosed with stomach swelling. Additionally, a heart examination was conducted, with no abnormalities found. The Prime Minister is under medical observation, and doctors have assured that his condition is stable and not a cause for concern.
“Earlier this morning, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel sought medical assistance due to stomach discomfort. He was admitted to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital, where necessary tests were performed. His condition remains stable, and he is being monitored and treated in the Internal Medicine Department,” the Ministry of Health stated.
