TRNC Prime Minister Meets with Turkish President
During a working visit to Ankara, Ünal Üstel, the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), met with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The meeting, held at the Presidential Complex, was also attended by Turkey’s Vice President, Cevdet Yılmaz.
After the meeting, Ünal Üstel shared a statement on his social media account.
- "On behalf of my people, I would like to sincerely thank President Erdoğan for taking the time to meet with us, despite Turkey's increasingly busy agenda in recent days. During our meeting, where we reaffirmed the essential unity between the Republic of Turkey and the TRNC, I want to once again express my gratitude to President Erdoğan and Vice President Yılmaz for their interest and hospitality," wrote the Prime Minister.
Following the meeting with President Erdoğan, Ünal Üstel concluded his visit to Ankara and returned to the island.
