The President of the TRNC will visit Azerbaijan
The President of the TRNC, Ersin Tatar, will soon visit Azerbaijan on a working visit. The head of Northern Cyprus made this statement at an event dedicated to the 47th anniversary of the Taekwondo, Karate, Judo, and Aikido Federation.
The leader of the Turkish Cypriots congratulated the President of the Federation, Eyüp Zafer Gekbilen, and welcomed the guests from Azerbaijan who arrived on this occasion in Northern Cyprus.
Addressing the athletes, Ersin Tatar noted that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is an "integral part of the Turkic world" and emphasized the importance of young people from Azerbaijan and the TRNC coming together in sports.
Highlighting that the Federation has existed for 47 years, Ersin Tatar emphasized that athletes from the country have been given the opportunity to compete at the international level and raise the TRNC flag on sports grounds around the world.
At the end of his speech, the head of Northern Cyprus announced that in the coming days he will travel to Azerbaijan at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan. Ersin Tatar emphasized that the relations between the two states will be further strengthened through mutual visits.
